While incarcerated Joabie began to paint and draw &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:verdana;"&gt;seriously and has been studying the mystery traditions. His work combines many traditional features of Aboriginal art with the imagery and iconography of other ancient mystery schools, particularly the Egyptian.
